There was a free buffet for all those who attended and a raffle with a number of prizes. At the end of the meeting there was a very good collection and overall £340 was raised.
Our next meeting will be next month, if you would like to get involved with Merseyside BNP or attend our next meeting then please get in touch with us, our contact details are:

£15m injection to regenerate rundown areas on Mersyeside

A CONTROVERSIAL housing scheme to regenerate rundown areas on Merseyside is to receive a total of £152m between now and 2011.

The New Heartlands housing renewal scheme is the biggest beneficiary in the north-west of a national £1bn Government programme which aims to improve areas where houses are empty or unsaleable – in many cases by widespread demolition and building new homes. The Merseyside scheme covers 130,000 homes across Liverpool, Sefton and Wirral. It will receive £54m this year, £51m in 2009/10, and £47m in 2010/11. The Government said the money would be used to “restore stable communities”.

COMMENT

What exactly does "restore stable communities" mean. When I see statements or comments like these the alarm bells in my head start ringing. The problem with councils and Government is that they tell you things but of which does not mean a thing. I wonder who will be given preference to all these nice new houses once the building work has been completed as well and which areas are going to be the kucky ones to receive the cash.

Council taxes to go up an average £67 a household

COUNCIL tax bills across Liverpool will increase by a total of 4.8%, or £67 for the average household. It comes after Liverpool City Council's Liberal Democrat administration announced yesterday it was planning to increase its share by 4.9%.

When added to the Fire Authority's 4% rise and the Police Authority's 5% increase it means bills across the city will go up by 4.8% from April. If approved by the full council on March 5, the typical band A households will pay an extra £44.79 bringing their bills to £964.25, while those in the average band D will pay £1446.38 – a rise of £67.19.

COMMENT

Its not even funny any more. Is there ever going to be a year when any sort of tax does not rise. There will become a breaking point when all of us simply say you can have the clothes off my back as well. Its been well documented on this site how wasteful Liverpool council has been, but I see no chance in the future of any reduction either. I would also like to remind everyone that the economy and all of Britain should also be coining it in, all of us better off due to millions coming into the country on the cheap!...Where are the benefits then? I cannot see them.

Merseyside hit by earthquake

Earthquake felt across much of UK

The earthquake caused damage to many homes
The biggest earthquake in the UK for nearly 25 years has shaken homes across large parts of the country.
People in Newcastle, Yorkshire, London, Cumbria, the Midlands, Norfolk and also parts of Wales, felt the tremor just before 0100 GMT. A man suffered a broken pelvis when a chimney collapsed in South Yorkshire. The British Geological Survey (BGS) said the epicentre of the 5.2 magnitude quake was near Market Rasen in Lincolnshire.

COMMENT

Well was it good for you?...The earth moving that is. In the grand scheme of things when mother nature decides to act, there is truly nothing we can do about it. I was writing a letter last night (this morning) when the quake started, I immediately knew what was happening as I have experienced the recent ones to have struck Britain, but this one I thought was the most powerful. I cant wait until the next one!

Lord Mayor’s parade to be spectacularly eco-friendly And Diverse

THIS year’s Lord Mayor’s Parade in Liverpool is expected to be the greenest ever staged.“The Lord Mayor’s parade is a great way for people to give to charity, have a great deal of fun and show off Liverpool’s uniquely diverse community at the same time.
“We are trying to give the event a much greener emphasis, as no one wants to parade behind smelly petrol or diesel fumes which release greenhouse gasses that contribute to global warming.

COMMENT

Lord Mayors parade I have no problem with. The politically correct rubbish that is the "celebration of Liverpool's uniquely diverse community" somewhat leaves a sour taste in the mouth. I wonder why the likes of Labour councillors in celebrating these diverse communities only celebrates at "arms length", as long as these diverse communities are not in their back yard shall we say. Hypocrites the lot of them.

As regards the greenhouse gasses situation this Labour councillor would do better to lobby the thieving gits in Parliament, which are the Labour MP's who fly their family to London with discount air flights using MP's air miles, which is I understand against Parliamentary rules. Oh and lets not forget the taxis all over London for his wife as well just to do the days shopping. (Michael

Liverpool 'terror doctor' appears in court

A man charged over the alleged London and Glasgow car bombs plot, who was arrested in Liverpool, has appeared in court.
Doctor Sabeel Ahmed, 26, made an application for bail during a private hearing at Woolwich Crown Court.
After one hour of argument, Mr Justice Calvert-Smith adjourned the hearing to a date to be set and remanded Ahmed back into custody.
He is accused of not disclosing information that could have helped police arrest a suspected terrorist.
Ahmed was arrested near Liverpool’s Lime Street station on June 30 last year and was later charged under the Terrorism Act.
Originally from Bangalore in India, he was the third person charged in the investigation.
He is the brother of Kafeel Ahmed, who was held at Glasgow airport after a burning Jeep was driven into the terminal building. He later died of his injuries.
Bilal Abdullah, 28, and Mohammed Asha, 27, both face trial later this year accused of conspiracy to cause explosions.
Last June two cars containing petrol, gas cylinders and nails were discovered in London.
The next day a burning car was driven into a terminal building at Glasgow airport.

COMMENT

He made an application for bail?, bloody cheek. Readers of this blog will be updated on this story as the case progresses, in the meantime this fella is safely behind bars where he belongs.

Huyton homes hit by burst water main!

AT LEAST 1,000 households were without water and up to 60 homes left flooded after a massive water mains burst in Huyton.

Residents living around Liverpool Road, at its junction with Bakers Green Road, rushed to save what belongings they could after torrents of water gushed into their street shortly before 4pm yesterday.

Comment

This is a disgrace that residents can have their homes damaged due to the incompetence of Private companies who fail to maintain their pipes. This just shows how privatization of essential utilities such as water is a complete and utter failure, water, electricity and gas should be brought back under public ownership where they are run to provide a service not to make a profit. We can not hold these companies to account like we can hold the politicians to account, how can these residents be sure that a main pipe wont burst again and ruin their homes for a third time?
The private companies should be forced to pay for all the damage caused by their incompetence so that residents do not need to claim it on their insurance.

BNP coverage attracts huge response

Today's article is not a local one. Such is the pulling power of the BNP bearing in mind the Party is still in its infancy, wherever the Party leader goes we gain attention and attract new members. A perfect example has been Nick Griffins visit this week to Hastings down South. In a Democratic country everyone has a right to listen to an opposing viewpoint.

This Labour Government have been without doubt the most deceitful, evasive, dishonest government that I can think of, they have tried to do everything that can be described as being "anti democratic" as regards our BNP party. "Spin" which is a descriptive word for being disingenuous or duplicitous with the facts is something that goes hand in hand with this treasonous Labor Party.

The British National Party is the ONLY British party that will and can represent the true interests of the British people.

Crime and safety budget halved despite Rhys Jones shooting

THE Government has more than halved its contribution to community safety schemes in Liverpool, despite the murder of 11-year-old Rhys Jones.
Recent work in reducing crime and anti-social behaviour is now under threat, an internal Liverpool council briefing paper has warned.
The Government has cut the city’s Safer and Stronger Communities grant from £3.6m to £1.7m from April.

COMMENT

Sometimes it seems we are going around in never ending circles. We get police reports that statistically crime is down, from the Government everything is down whilst the money they give to councils is up. Well what is it? someone is obviously not being honest with the true figures are they.

As a tax payer I do not mind paying extra to feel more safe and secure in society, especially as the open border policy by the Labour government of this country lets anyone in. But its these very policies that are putting everyone at risk and its getting worse!! Its also of no reassurance that Liverpool City council are one of the worst in the country when it comes to political mismanagement and failure. Hardly a recipe to be a safe and secure success is it.

Murder probe after man found with gunshot wounds in field

A murder investigation has been launched after the body of a 38-year-old man was found with gunshot wounds in his legs in a field in Liverpool.
Detectives believe the man died due to a “local dispute” but denied it is linked to gang-related violence.
The body was found by a member of public near to Dam Wood, Croxteth, Liverpool, at around 2pm on Monday.
The death has not been linked to the murder of 11-year-old schoolboy Rhys Jones who was shot in the neck as he walked home on August 22 last year in Croxteth.

Comment

One of the things that struck me when 11-year-old schoolboy Rhys Jones was murdered was how detached the councillors were to problems going on in their wards. I am going to refer to one Councillor Rose Bailey of the Labour Party, who happens to live on the same estate where young Rhys was murdered. Soon after the murder she gave interviews on local TV and radio to say that occurrences like these in Croxteth were rare. Her comments were met with gasps and disbelief by people living in the same area.

Norris Green and Croxteth are particularly bad flashpoint areas for gun crime and its not an understatement to say the police are stretched in these areas. The wise thing would be to acknowledge the problems and try to tackle them, rather than ignore them as some councillors are quite clearly doing. The fashion that the Labour Party have seemed to adopt is a see no evil speak no evil attitude, this is something that the BNP will work hard alongside people in the different communities to put an end to.

Councillors accused of risking Liverpool’s future

THE poor behaviour of councillors in Liverpool is holding the city back and putting improvements in the quality of life of residents at risk, a report reveals today.
According to the Audit Commission, some councillors are too scared to speak at meetings for fear of being shouted at or ridiculed, and “personally abusive language and aggressive behaviour” is regularly seen at meetings.

COMMENT

The article today speaks volumes of the way councillors conduct themselves. To be fair to Liverpool councillors, the problems are nationwide. Many a time me and my British National Party members have been out on the street, meeting the public or leafleting only to be met with abuse as regards working on "their patch". You only have to observe how some of them behave at the public counts come the May elections to realise what the problems are going to be. To be honest the behaviour of opposing fans at a Liverpool -Manchester UTD game would be a lot better.

Call for new scheme to combat rising fuel costs

WIRRAL Council will tonight consider calls for a scheme to combat fuel poverty in the borough.
Recent price hikes in fuel costs have prompted the calls for increased efforts to address the problems, and for local MPs to back a review of the energy market.
Liberal Democrat councillor Paula Southwood said: “The recent rises in fuel prices will hit those on fixed incomes the hardest.
“Since Wirral has a higher- than-average older population and some of the most deprived wards in the country, this situation will leave many more Wirral residents in financial hardship.

COMMENT

Is that what they call it now "fuel poverty", in political circles, we call useless announcements "soundbites". A few years ago this country was nearly brought to its knees because of the fuel blockade, the price of a litre casting my mind back was about 90 pence per litre of diesel. Today it is £1.08 per litre. Now the cost of gas and electric has rocketed while all these companies make hundreds of millions in profits and people will suffer as a result of this...Nothing ever gets done.

Liberal Democrat councillor Paula Southwood should really lobby her local MP to discuss why this Labour Government gives hundreds of millions of pounds in aid to India per year, this a country who have their own space programme!!...Think what we could do with this money instead. The British national party would not pay one pence to useless foreign aid programmes when our own country needs the money more.

I want a European referendum

In the 2005 election the Government promised to hold a referendum on the proposed EU Constitution. Later that year, French and Dutch voters overwhelmingly rejected the Constitution in their own referendums.
But EU leaders refused to listen. They are now trying to reintroduce the rejected Constitution in the form of a new treaty. Although they have changed the name, the contents are almost exactly the same. This is a deeply dishonest process.

COMMENT

Most of our MP's will want to hush this under the carpet, effectively signing our countries rights away and getting the "treaty" in through the back door. The very idea of discussion with "your own" MP is likely to end with a dismissive swat of the hand and quotes like "I do not believe in a referendum on ANY topic" and there was me thinking they worked for us..This was the reply I received from my Labour MP on Friday. The Labour party have the power to allow this country to decide, but they wont for fear of the result reflecting on the public dissatisfaction with the government. This explains the obvious hostile and dismissive reactions from the Labour MP's as such.

There is a day of action in London on the 27th February outside Parliament, with various pickup points through the country. If you would like to attend click on the link to enquire below.

Churchill on Islam!

How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides
the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog,
there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many
countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods
of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the
Prophet rule or live.…A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and
refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan
law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a
child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until
the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.
Individual
Moslems may show splendid qualities ... but the influence of the religion
paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde
force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant
and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa,
raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is
sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly
struggled, the civilisation of modern Europe might fall, as fell the
civilisation of ancient Rome. [The River War, first edition, Vol. II, pp.
248-50.]
I think that speaks volumes, even back then the man who is hailed as a great leader for leading the British to victory against the Nazis could see Islam for what it was. Or was he only looking at the 'radicals'?

Faking It - Dodgy NHS Workers Lie On CVs

A third of NHS Trusts have identified health workers using fake CVs or lying about criminal convictions, according to research seen by Sky News.
The survey was carried out by the CV checking company NDF Associates using the Freedom of Information Act.
It found a third of the 40 Trusts polled had had problems with fraudulent applications.

COMMENT

We commented on unqualified doctors this week putting the lives of NHS patients at risk.
http://merseysidebnp.blogspot.com/2008/02/wirral-gp-suspended-in-probe-over.html

Now it seems the problem may be endemic in this country. The Government along with local councils are guilty of not providing the very basic checks required as regards the qualifications of these so called "professionals". I have to be honest, I wouldn't be to happy knowing I went in for brain surgery, only to find out later the doctor was only a qualified chiropodist. As the infection of "enforced multiculturalism" takes a deeper hold on our lives, will it get to the stage where we, ourselves, have to request to the doctors to prove that they are, who they say they are.

You can have 100 more cops for a fiver a year

ONE hundred extra police officers would cost the people of Merseyside less than £5 per household a year.
The Police Authority is putting the final touches to next year’s budget.
The extra 100 officers on the front line would mean the average council tax rising by only 8p a week.
For a band A property, most homes in Merseyside, it will mean a rise of just £4.25, less than the average cost of two pints of lager. For a band D home it rises to an extra £6.38.

COMMENT.

For once this is a good news article. The police along with the council have stated that Merseyside crime figures are down. I feel myself that this is a bit overstated, but I will never disagree with putting more "proper police" where they are needed and that's on the streets.

The obvious places where more are needed is Norris Green and Croxteth, it will be interesting as to where these extra police are deployed. Police Authority chairman Bill Weightman said: “We have a commitment to putting extra officers on our streets. In 2005 we said we wanted 600 extra officers – with this influx we will have provided 410 of those 600". Well if they put the extra financing into this commitment and less emphasis on the "plastic police", the community support officer, who instill you with as much confidence as a traffic warden hovering around your car, they may make some inroads into hitting the magic 600. Watch this space.

Doctor condemns Liverpool's elderly care plans as ‘an insult’

A LEADING doctor has launched a fierce attack on care for the elderly in Liverpool”.
Geriatric care expert Dr Gillian Malster expressed her concern at an AGM held by a patients group in Crosby yesterday.
The Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) Forum of Liverpool’s Royal and Broadgreen hospitals were discussing redevelopment plans for the Royal, which they believe will result in the loss of more than 300 hospital beds.

COMMENT

One of the most scandalous things that's happening in society today is how the government treats the elderly. You would think that the very people who have been the backbone of the country, paid into the taxation system all their lives would get something back in return. WRONG!!

It is quite clear that "additional funding" is being syphoned and directed into "other areas" which as far as I am concerned don't deserve it (questions on a postcard). The British National Party believe we owe it to the older generations, to take proper care of them, out of respect for them making Great Britain "Great".We put British people first, because we deserve to be first.

Aborigines Accept Australia's Apology

The Australian Prime Minister has offered a formal apology for mistreatment of Aborigines in the past. Kevin Rudd's apology was accepted
Kevin Rudd told the country's parliament that past policies of assimilation, under which Aborigine children were taken from their families to be brought up in white households, were a stain on the nation's soul.

"Today, the parliament has come together to right a great wrong," Mr Rudd said.
"We apologise for the laws and policies of successive parliaments and governments that have inflicted profound grief, suffering and loss on these our fellow Australians."

COMMENT.

Today's article is not a local one but taken from the opposite end of the earth In Australia.
Many of the politicians, Labour, Conservatives, Lib Dems in Britain constantly harp on about the policies of the BNP. Always their comments are exaggerated and blown out of proportion as regards the BNP always putting British people and British interests first, before anyone else.

The parallel between us as a "British native" nation and the Aboriginal example is evident for everyone to see. The taking of children from Aborigine parents was clearly an outrage and wrong and does not apply to us, but all of us as native British born on these Isles are getting treated exactly the same way by our Government today as the Aborigines are getting treated. We have millions of "non native" flooding into the country changing the demographics of this country like a whirlwind and for the worse.

I wonder if it will take two centuries for the Labour or Conservative Governments of the future to make this apology "We apologise for the laws and policies of successive parliaments and governments that have inflicted profound grief, suffering and loss on these our fellow Australians." to future British citizens....I wont hold my breath.

Wirral GP suspended in probe over patients safety

A MERSEYSIDE GP was suspended amid hygiene concerns and fears for patient safety.
Dr Vinod Shiralkar is being investigated by the General Medical Council. A leaked report revealed how National Clinical Assessment Service (NCAS) investigators were so shocked they warned Wirral Primary Care Trust of concerns for the safety of the Leasowe GP’s 1,070 patients.

The confidential document, details a shocking series of alleged blunders at the Twickenham Drive practice including:
Failing to follow up a symptom which could have indicated the sexual abuse of a one-year- old baby.

COMMENT
Is it any wonder these days that going to the doctors or for a short stay in hospital should come with a government health warning.

Its all very well flooding this countries health practises and hospitals with "third world professionals" so should we not expect in return third world service and hygiene practises. The truth is the government give the impression of a professional skill shortage in this country as regards doctors, junior doctors but this is just a lie. There are thousands of British junior doctors who graduate, who are chomping at the bit to get a hospital place, only to be refused to employ the cheaper alternative from abroad. Indeed a percentage of the British graduates move abroad to Canada, Australia in an attempt to further their careers.

The BNP would stop "importing" third world professionals and would concentrate on promoting British jobs for British people. This is not a soundbite but a promise.

Blog update!

A few things have been added to the blog, you can see these on the right hand side. This is all part of making a more interactive blog for our readers to enjoy.

Fresh call for road charging in Liverpool

A few days ago Liverpool city council was named the worst local authority in the country for the second time in weeks. Now as if we haven't got enough to pay out as regards motoring tax, the price of petrol, diesel, increase in tunnel fares, increase in parking fines etc etc. There are now talks of a congestion charge being introduced to the Liverpool city centre putting even more pressure on car owners.

Financial mismanagement is becoming a standard joke for this council so the easy way for them to recoup the money is by hammering all honest motorists by these "stealth increases"..Pathetic.

Liverpool: England’s worst local authority

Don't need to say to much about this apart from read the linked story. If you wander through some of the areas like Anfield, Kirkdale for example you would be asking yourself how anyone can live in an area like this. These areas resemble something akin to third world ghettos. Its a case of see no evil speak no evil as far as the representing elected councillors are concerned in them areas.

No doubt there will be fantastic increases in council tax for years to come in Liverpool with no improvements to living standards in return. The BNP would direct money into proper community regeneration schemes and not the "PC schemes" which are so wasteful of money and much needed funds.

Jacqui Smith calls Chief constables on immigrant crimewave

The week before last we were reading headlines in the Liverpool Echo about crime dropping to its lowest point since 2003 in Merseyside. All this ahem ahem over a three month period July to September 2007 which shows 7,029 fewer crimes than the same time in 2006. To me this report was poppycock for want of a better word.

All of a sudden our kebab munching Home Secretary Jacqui Smith seems so concerned about recent "crimewave comments" from various police chief constables, she has found it necessary to summon 43 of them because of an immigrant crimewave. I am not suggesting that all crime is down to immigrants because its not. What is clear is that an ever increasing percentage of crime also unreported crime is down to immigrants.

Common sense must tell us that over the next five to ten years with a Conservative estimate of another 3.5 million immigrants (5 to 6 million more likely) that life will become intolerable in this country. Neither Labour, the Conservatives, the Lib Dems have the policies or the know how to solve this problem.

The British National Party will close the door to immigrants full stop. More funds and financing can then be diverted to the police to tackle this immigrant crimewave, something Jacqui Smith or the other political parties will not do.

Takeaway jobs crook faces £370,000 payback

A LIVERPOOL businessman who is believed to have made up to £7m by using illegal immigrants to work for him could be stripped of more than £370,000.

Rashad Daloub was jailed for three- and-a-half years in January 2007 for breaching a string of immigration laws. Now they have launched a proceeds of crime hearing at Liverpool crown court in a bid to seize his dirty cash and assets, which they say total £373,316.

Deborah Goulding, prosecuting, said: “The defendant is doing his utmost to avoid having this procedure dealt with.

What I would like to know is why doesn't the £7 million get stripped from this crook. People who come into this country and who clearly do not want to live by the laws of the land should be deported. Were the illegal immigrants whilst working for him claiming asylum payments and all the free benefits that go with being an asylum seeker ??. That's the question I would like answered.

Hundreds of Liverpool girls 'mutilated' in African ritual

At first glance reading this story I thought it was some kind of joke. Some new kind of tradition or mad ceremony the council were getting involved in with the African community. The amounts of young children this affects goes into the hundreds which is staggering.

Health officials today revealed girls aged between four and 11 are also being taken abroad during school holidays to be illegally circumcised.

Gynaecologists at Liverpool’s Alder Hey children’s hospital said they had seen young girls suffering complications after undergoing female genital mutilation (FGM).

What is wrong with people coming into this country. Its quite obvious that our "guests" do not want to live by our rules, traditions. Whether it be the male Muslim men who want four wives and Shariah law introduced in Britain and now this with the Africans.

Not much seems to get mentioned about the "forgotten soldiers" in Afghanistan or Iraq. The only time we do hear about them is when someone has died or been blown up. Indeed the very mention of them is through as much embarrassment as mentioning the word "recession" which is a non word in Parliament.

I only wish the self obsessed MP's thought the soldiers were worth as much as they seem to fiddle in expenses!!

Meet the BNP's blonde bombshell!

Today the BNP has made the National newspapers with a Double spread story in the Daily Mail. The article is fairly good, but tries not to promote the BNP as they can get in trouble for that.

What community wouldn't be proud to have a Donna Bailey in its midst?
Committed to civic improvement, she's just as determined to mend broken swings
in the park as she is to stop teenagers hanging around the local corner shop in
the evenings. Such is the message coming from the fellow mothers huddled in the
park in question, a sorely neglected corner of the quaint West Sussex village of
Upper Beeding. The mums here call Donna - a warm, blue-eyed beautician, who
offers facials at very reasonable rates - one of their own, which in itself is
something of an accolade.

They tell you that Upper Beeding is actually the sort
of place where you are an outsider until your family has lived here for three
generations. Donna, 41, however, has been brought into the fold in an
astonishing four years, since moving here with her three children to start a new
life after a painful divorce. "She's a marvellous person. She's just thrown
herself-into helping the community, and there aren't a lot of people like that
around these days," explains Lorraine Blain, 38, who runs the local pub.

Kirkby Residents Revolt Against Councillors And Stadium Plans.

OPPONENTS of Everton’s plans to relocate to Kirkby are planning to oust “unsupportive” councillors at this May’s elections.
Kirkby Residents Action Group (Krag) will ask residents attending tonight’s meeting at the Catholic Holy Angels Church to stand as independent candidates in Knowsley’s local elections.

One day it will dawn on the self fulfilling councillors that they are accountable to the people to do a job for the people, not the other way round. Ward councillors should represent their constituents and listen to the/any objections that the voters have in that ward.

There is nothing that a councillor hates more than to give truthfull answers on an emmotive subject to an angry crowd.Especially if you are the ward councillor! Let the firework's begin
