Liverpool BNP make a stand against Gordon in Liverpool!

LIVERPOOL BNP SEES THROUGH THE GOVERNMENT’S MEETING IN THEIR CITY

Members of the British National Party from around the Merseyside area held a demonstration outside the Liverpool Echo Arena on Thursday 8th January 2009, which was the venue for Gordon Brown’s Cabinet meeting. The Cabinet meeting is only the third time it has been held outside of the capital and the British National Party say there is more to this meeting that the Government is prepared to let the public know about.

Liverpool BNP claim the real reason why the Prime Minister is touring the country is not to show to the British public that they have their best interest at heart, but instead, they are trying to form a coalition with the Liberal Democrats.

Peter Tierney from Liverpool BNP said “The Labour Party has lost its traditional working class voter base, because they have abandoned them in favour of big business. This government will do anything to keep hold of the reins of power and the real reason why they have come to Liverpool today is to discuss a Lib Lab coalition government with the Lib Dems.”

There has been plenty of support from the public with many car horns hooting from the passing motorists. This is encouraging as Liverpool BNP are planning another big event in Liverpool on Saturday 14th March 2009. Last November seen 13 British National Party Members arrested in Liverpool city centre for distributing the Party’s “Racism Cuts Both ways” brochure, which was later quashed by the Attorney General.

  2. Thousands bankrupted over unpaid council tax

    Jill Sherman and Frances Gibb
Thousands of vulnerable people are being forced into bankruptcy as town halls use increasingly aggressive tactics to chase council tax arrears.

Some households owing hundreds of pounds are saddled with debts in five figures as a result of such action, The Times has learnt.

Pensioners and poor families have even had to sell their homes to meet huge legal costs arising from bank-rupcy orders that dwarf the original debt, according to Citizens Advice.

Bailiffs were used in 1.2 million cases to recover council tax arrears last year, and 2.5 million households received courts summonses. Of 19,156 bankruptcy petitions, one in five was lodged by local authorities. In 1992-93 the proportion was one in a hundred.

The figures have prompted calls for councils to be less draconian and to use bankruptcy proceedings only as a last resort in extreme cases.

Opposition parties say that town halls should not be putting people’s homes at risk when the Government is putting pressure on mortgage lenders to avoid repossessions.

Figures obtained by the Liberal Democrats under freedom of information legislation and extrapolated across England and Wales show that 3,500 householders were pursued for bankruptcy or made bankrupt by town halls last year. Separate research by Citizens Advice suggests that town halls filed more than 5,000 petitions for bankruptcy, of which at least 1,000 resulted in orders allowing the seizure of assets. Julia Goldsworthy, the Lib Dems’ local government spokesman, said: “Public bodies should do everything they can to ensure that bankruptcy is avoided where possible.”

The Government said that local authorities needed to chase arrears to stop bills from soaring. A spokesman for the Department for Communities and Local Government said: “Local authorities must have the tools at their disposal to tackle the small minority of people who can but won’t pay.”

Sir Jeremy Beecham, the vice-chair-man of the Local Government Association, said: “People struggling to pay bills are given as much leeway as possible.”

  3. From The TimesJanuary 8, 2009

Council tax debt-chasers on £600 an hour
Insolvency accountants who chase up small council tax arrears of a few hundred pounds charge up to £600 an hour, it emerged yesterday.

The huge fees were disclosed after concern that thousands of vulnerable people are forced into bankruptcy because town halls are using draconian tactics to retrieve council tax debts.

Some householders who owe less than £2,000 in arrears are suddenly faced with a bill of up to £50,000 and forced to sell their homes because of the exorbitant fees which kick in after bankruptcy.

The latest figures, obtained through the Freedom of Information Act and published in The Times yesterday, show that up to 5,000 householders were pursued for bankruptcy last year and at least 1,000 were made bankrupt.

Giles Hindle, insolvency and corporate recovery partner with Beachcroft, the law firm, said that once a householder was declared bankrupt the Official Receiver appointed an insolvency practitioner from firms such as KPMG, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Deloitte and other well-known accountants.

The practitioner was then required to try to find the arrears and any other debts occurred by the householder by selling assets, including any equity in the home. Mr Hindle said the process could be lengthy and expensive and debtors, who had to pick up the final bill, were unaware that often they were piling on costs by obstructing the accountants.

“Insolvency practitioners charge between £200 and £600 an hour once bankruptcy proceedings have started. Where a home needs to be sold the costs go up and accelerate if the householder tries to stop or delay a sale. Where this happens lawyers are also brought in,” said Mr Hindle.

“If a case continues for several years it is easy to reach figures such as £40,000 to £50,000 in fees. Even where a debtor co-operates all the way the figure can be £4,000. Often the debtor ratchets up charges simply by putting their head in the sand.”

Vince Cable, deputy leader of the Liberal Democrats, called on the Government urgently to review the process. “This is a nice little earner for big accountancy companies who are clearly profiting enormously from individuals in distress,” said Mr Cable. “There seems to be no justification whatever for these astronomical fees for what appears to be routine work and there is a clear case for the Government to intervene either by involving the competition authorities or by opening up the business to a wider range of providers.”

Citizens Advice is also concerned about the high fees that have triggered house sales for several clients. The organisation has conducted research showing that using bankruptcy proceedings is also expensive for councils. “If someone is forced to sell their home for failing to pay a bill of a few hundred pounds, the council might be required to house them at a much higher cost,” said a spokesman.

Councils defended their use of bankruptcy proceedings and bailiffs to collect council tax arrears. Sheffield, the Liberal Democrat-led council, is one of the worst offenders in chasing arrears, with the frequent use of bailiffs and bankruptcy petitions. Last year the council, then led by Labour, filed 143 households for bankruptcy and sent bailiffs into homes to collect arrears 19,365 times.

“We have to be careful to strike a balance between collecting the council tax that is owed and being understanding with people who are in financial difficulties,” said Simon Clement-Jones, Sheffield Cabinet member for finance and customer service. “We will be looking at the council's policies to make sure we do have the right balance at a time when more and more people are under financial pressure.”

Southwark council, in London, used bailiffs 16,000 times and pursued 27 bankruptcies. Mike Lynch, Southwark Council's client manager, said: “Southwark has a poor base in terms of collection and with the recession we have been looking to be more efficient in the way we collect council tax, and bankruptcy is being more widely used by local authorities as a means of recovering arrears.”

  4. Brown says “Liverpool should be congratulated on the huge success of Capital of Culture. The number of tourists who have come here is a reflection of that.(Only by ignoring and neglecting the people who live outside the city centre who are living in dreadful conditions and who have been forgotten by the worst Liberal Council in the Country aided and abetted by communists in the Labour Opposition quaffing out of the same trough )

  5. YouTube Partners with MOSSAD
It seems that the days of using YouTube as #1 media to distribute documentaries, videos and presentations about the truth of Israel and Zionist and their horrific war-crimes history and terrorism profile, has come to END.

Yesterday, it was announced that YouTube officially connected to the infamous ADL as partner to "Fight Against Hate."
YouTube has reached out to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) for its expertise in dealing with hate on the Internet. In one outgrowth of that partnership, the League is now a contributor to YouTube's newly launched Abuse & Safety Center, where users are empowered to identify and confront hate, and to report abuses.

The YouTube Abuse & Safety Center features information and links to resources developed by ADL to help Internet users respond to and report offensive material and extremist content that violates YouTube's Community Guidelines on hate speech. …

The YouTube Abuse & Safety Center was unveiled on December 11 at the annual conference of the Family Online Safety Institute in Washington D.C. and can be found at http://help.youtube.com/support/youtube/bin/request.py?contact_type=abuse.

I know it sounds too weird to believe, but that's the news. YouTube now has on-board one of the US’s domestic branches of Israel's intelligence service, the Mossad. The ADL, the Mossad’s most "professional" organizations whose "speciality is spreading hate", are recruited as a professionals in the just struggle of "fighting against hate"?!

This partnership has many dimensions and should not be taken lightly.

    1. As YouTube is one of the most viewed websites worldwide, controlling it means controlling the minds of hundreds of millions of its viewers. This is significant if we look at last year's YouTube report in which Harris Interactive said,

about 32 percent of frequent YouTube users are watching less TV as a result of the time they spend online. Of the frequent YouTube users, 66 percent claim they are sacrificing other activities when on YouTube, including other websites (36 percent), time spent watching TV (32 percent),…

It is also significant if we know that about 700,000 people do watch the YouTube concert at its peak. Imagine you are in control and show one pro-Zionist and anti-Arab/anti-Islam ad during the show.

A couple of days ago, in continuing its dominance of online video, Comscore announced these astonishing figures:

YouTube reached a record 99.5 million visitors in October, according to comScore. How dominant is that? The report indicates that, in total, 147 million people watched video online in the US during the month, meaning better than 2 in 3 watched it using a Google property. Overall, growth in online video remains robust, increasing 45 percent from last year to 13.5 billion total monthly views.

Knowing all the above facts and knowing what ADL stands for makes one 'feel sick to one’s stomach'. It means that hundreds of millions of Americans and others around the world are now going to be officially brainwashed by the Mossad and under censorship for everything they say, upload, document and view on YouTube.

    2. From now on, you should expect that no more videos that are anti-Zionist, anti-Israel, anti-war and anti-war crimes to be shown for more than the few hours (if lucky enough) after you upload your video. Sooner or later - and the period depends how critical the video is - all will be tagged with the infamous "anti-Semitism" tag and will be removed, ultimately the user will be blocked and banned. In no time, YouTube will become the official oasis for Mossad, therefore, only the Zionist version of the story will be found and endorsed by the media that follows blindly. I regret to break this news to you, but from now on Israel controls the most influential and powerful alternative media. No more "Israel crimes" to be seen or found and only pro-Zionist, pro-Israel users will continue to control the media, not only conventional, but online.

    3. No more 9-11 facts, especially these connected to Israel, and they are countless. These videos and documentaries were and still are, some of the most powerful eye openers for millions who would like and need to know the hidden facts behind 9-11. The same facts which the US puppet government tried to hide from its citizens and the world. Searching YouTube (at least now, before the ADL manages to remove them all) for Israel connection to 9-11 will reveal hundreds of hours of documentaries that no one should miss if s/he really cares to know the truth behind 9-11. "What are you doing putting this stuff out there? You're killing us!" These were the words of Abraham H. Foxman, Executive National Director of the infamous Anti-Defamation League. Foxman shouted this during a sit-down he demanded to have with an unnamed Fox News executive shortly after Sept. 11.

    4. The "New Era" will flourish the anti-Arab, anti-Islam, anti-Christ, pro-Neocon and pro-Nazi videos. ADL is widely known for all the above and are specialized in it. Their history is full of cases that flip facts and spread hate. Who can forget that after Islam, Arab and anyone who criticizes the Zionist, it was the turn of Christ and Christians. Abraham H. Foxman (ADL National Director) once told Christians that they should deny part of the historical facts and rip out some parts of the Bible. In other words, change Christian faith so they are not labelled anti-Semitic! Another example of Foxman was slamming only Muslim Congressman.

  6. A demonstration against Gordon Brown with a dozen BNP suporters will reap no benefits but full marks for trying. The real effort should have been to put 500 leaflets out in one of the many wards in liverpool that have never seen a leaflet. A dozen members putting out 500 leaflets each equals 6,000 pieces of information resulting in more informed members of the public with a possible view of new members. A dozen members with good intentions does not a protest make!!!!!

  8. Extremism fear over elected police chiefs
    Reporter: Lobby Correspondent
    Date online: 18/12/2008

PLANS to give every town and city its own directly-elected police chief are in crisis after a committee of MPs warned the posts could be hijacked by the BNP .
The Labour-dominated Home Affairs Committee urged Home Secretary Jacqui Smith to rip up proposals for elections to police authorities, within hours of taking evidence on the danger they posed.

The highly unusual step — committees normally take many weeks to produce reports — was designed to seize the initiative ahead of today’s publication of the flagship Policing and Crime Bill
