British Muslim integration, Labour Party style

Shame on the police. Lets face it, if it was the Liverpool 13 hurling the racist abuse at the police that the Muslim filth were hurling at the Police in this video, then the Liverpool 13 would surely have received a severe beating by the Police. I hope Police all over the country will hang their heads in shame seeing what this country has become on the orders of the "idiots and imbeciles" in Downing street who want the Muslim vote to stay in Downing street.

  1. Crackdown head criticises stab data
    Jan 13 2009

The head of the Government's knife crime crackdown was not consulted over the controversial release of stabbing figures, he said.

Metropolitan Police Deputy Assistant Commissioner Alf Hitchcock said he was on holiday when the figures were put out last month.

He told MPs on the Home Affairs Committee "errors" were made in how the statistics were released. He said: "I recognised that there were some errors in putting out some of that data. They didn't check those figures with me but that was probably because I was out of the country at the time when those figures came out."

He said he would normally expect to be involved in the way statistics were released and part of discussions about the next data releases. The statistics watchdog criticised the early release of the figures, which purported to show fewer youngsters were being treated for stab injuries, as "premature, irregular and selective".

Mr Hitchcock also told MPs he thought sentences for knife carriers had been "insufficient" until recent changes were made. He said he disagreed with the idea of mandatory sentences which were supported by 62% of those questioned in a poll released on Monday.

He told the committee: "For some time I have said that the sentencing for knife offences, particularly for repeat offenders have been insufficient.

"I wrote to the Sentencing Advisory Panel indicating that, but since becoming head of the Tackling Knives Action Plan, action has been taken. The Lord Chief Justice has indicated there will be more severe sanctions."

He said courts were now using a twelve-week jail sentence as the starting point for knife-carriers.

Public perceptions of knife crime were often worse than the reality, he added.

"There is a perception by some people that things are getting worse and that is not wholly borne out by the statistics. But clearly people's perceptions of the areas in which they live...is as important in terms of public confidence and community confidence as the reality of the numbers."
    OH THAT'S OK THEN!!!)

  2. Immigrants have caused the collapse of British culture, says Archbishop of York

Last updated at 7:21 PM on 13th January 2009
The Archbishop of York says migrants have failed to integrate into British society over the last 40 year

Immigrants to Britain in the past four decades have acted like hotel guests who 'do not belong', the Archbishop of York said today.

Dr John Sentamu said the failure of migrants to integrate had contributed to the collapse of a common British culture and the lack of a national sense of direction.

    Tuesday, 13 January .
More than 30 suspected illegal immigrants were discovered in the back of a lorry today.
Stowaways were found in containers on an industrial estate in King's Lynn, Norfolk, officers from Norfolk Police said.

A spokesman for the force said officers were called to the Saddlebow area at 11.50am during an operation led by the UK Border Agency.

He said: "We got a phone call that a group had been found in the back of a lorry.
"The matter is being led by immigration authorities."
None of the group is believed to have been seriously hurt.

  4. A COP with a severe speech impediment is still a rookie after FIVE years.
The probationary officer, thought to have a severe stutter, has repeatedly failed passing-out exams because of his difficulty talking.

The disability means he is not allowed out patrolling the streets and cannot deal with the public.

Instead, he does admin duties at a police station in London on his full £30,000-a-year salary.

But ex-Met commander John O’Connor demanded yesterday: “Why on earth was he ever employed?

“We should seriously question whether he should be in the police. He may be a decent and intelligent person. But his physical impairment means he cannot communicate properly with the public — that means he can’t operate as a police officer.”

Normally cops spend two years on probation before qualifying as a constable.

But the trainee, in his late 20s, has been given a special extension by Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner Tim Godwin.
Because he comes from the Caribbean, he is also entitled to extra help routinely offered by the Met to all its ethnic recruits.

Former Flying Squad boss Mr O’Connor added: “It was racist to offer him a job as a policeman in the first place. It was terribly cruel because he has no real chance of making the grade with a disability like that.

“This is political correctness gone mad and you wonder how many other trainee PCs out there cannot get through their probation.

“I have never heard of anyone being on probation for five years.”

Last night the Met confirmed the rookie was still on probation and that the normal period was only two years.

A spokesman said the force had a legal obligation under the Disability Discrimination Act to make “reasonable adjustments” to help those with disabilities.

  9. Wirral councillor says sorry for e-mail rant at protester
Jan 14 2009 by Liam Murphy, Liverpool Daily Post

AN EXCHANGE of emails between a millionaire property magnate and a tour guide over the £100m transformation of Liverpool’s Hope Street led to legal and police advice being sought in 2008.

It followed approval of a controversial plan to flatten and replace the much-loved Josephine Butler House at the junction with Myrtle Street. Beatles tour guide Philip Coppell expressed his disgust to Maghull Developments managing director Michael Hanlon.

He launched a tirade of foul mouthed abuse in an email reply, including calling Mr Coppell a “f*****g ignorant pig”. It went on “we could always make room for you in the foundations”.

  11. A Personal Challenge for every Western Politician

The (Israeli) regime could never have maintained its illegal occupation of Palestine, or imposed a barbaric blockade on tiny Gaza, or mounted this latest bloodthirsty assault on civil society, were it not for the protection of an over-powerful 'friends' network in every major Western country, notes Stuart Littlewood.

“Our humanity is incomplete,” says Queen Rania.

These last two weeks have changed everything. Any remaining tolerance felt towards Israel and its friends has evaporated.

The regime could never have maintained its illegal occupation of Palestine, or imposed a barbaric blockade on tiny Gaza, or mounted this latest bloodthirsty assault on civil society, were it not for the protection of an over-powerful “friends” network in every major Western country.

In Britain the “Friends of Israel” organization, in its various guises, has stooges occupying key positions at the heart of government. These individuals paralyse any effective action against the lawless regime they subscribe to. They ought to be treated as agents of a foreign military power and weeded out, especially with the European elections coming up and a general election just around the corner.

Membership of Friends of Israel is nowadays a necessary stepping-stone to ministerial rank, I’m told. It is one thing for the Jewish community to back Israel but a much more serious matter if anyone in public office secretly places himself under an obligation to a foreign power and allows it to influence his work. Hundreds of our MPs may have crossed that line.

It is deeply worrying to discover that our Intelligence and Security Committee, Foreign Affairs Committee and Defence Committee are all chaired by Friends of Israel. How can it possibly be in our nation’s best interest?

After boasting how the UN Security Council resolution negotiated last Thursday [9 January] underlined the international community's determination to end the tragedy in Gaza, Bill Rammell MP, Minister of State for the Middle East, went on: "Of course a ceasefire can only come about through decisions taken by the parties involved – but in the interests of people in both Gaza and Israel, we will expend every diplomatic effort to stop the violence."

Nothing about implementing the pile of previous UN resolutions. This is typical of the meaningless drivel that routinely comes out of Westminster. Rammel’s boss, David Miliband, in a speech to Labour Friends of Israel last year, numbered himself among "Israel’s most committed friends". Prime Minister Gordon Brown declared himself a Zionist. Peace envoy Tony Blair, another Zionist, is too chicken to meet Hamas and look them in the eye. So we can be sure that their diplomatic efforts amount to no more than revving the engine with the parking brake on.

It is equally obvious that the Israelis will remain deaf until their lust for land is satisfied. They’ll listen only when hefty sanctions are applied, such as suspension of the EU-Israel Association Agreement and expulsion of its ambassadors in London and other European capitals.

If Mr Miliband doesn't know how to do this, he should take lessons from President Hugo Chavez of Venezuela, who has expelled the Israeli ambassador in protest against Israel's military offensive in the Gaza Strip.

He condemned as "murderers" the Israelis who carried out the military campaign and urged Jews in his country to take a stand against the Israeli government. "Now I hope that the Venezuelan Jewish community speaks out against this barbarism. Do it. Don't you strongly reject all acts of persecution?" he said. "How far will this barbarism go? The president of Israel should be taken before an international court together with the president of the United States, if the world had any conscience."

Are Jews speaking out against it in London? Plenty are. But the Board of Deputies of British Jews, which claims to be the main voice of the Jewish community, yesterday held a rally in London's Trafalgar Square with this message from its president: “Israel needs and deserves your support now" – while their brethren carried on with their massacre in Gaza.

On the Israeli Embassy's website ambassador Ron Prosor merrily vilifies Hamas while overlooking the fact that his own regime has raped the Holy Land for its own benefit for 60 years. He claims Israel left Gaza in 2005. "Every soldier was withdrawn. Every Jewish settlement was evacuated... Politicians staked their reputations on a courageous step towards peace. They hoped Gaza could provide a blueprint of Palestinian autonomy, a precursor to a Palestinian state."

But Mr Prosor is either very forgetful or very deceitful. Israel, since 2005, has continued to occupy Gaza's airspace and coastal waters. It controls all ways in and out. It keeps Gazans under constant surveillance with drones, some of which can instantly destroy any target. Thus, Israel has disabled Gaza’s civil society, crushed its economy and denied its people any semblance of freedom or prosperity.

Prosor is correct in one thing: this is indeed the sort of blueprint Israelis wish to impose on a future Palestinian state. Quite rightly, the Palestinian people and the government they elected – Hamas – resist.

Now Prosor seeks cover for his country’s war crimes by tying the international community into the slaughter, urging them to "stand up to the extremism that threatens us all. We must start the New Year in the spirit of Churchill. If we are divided, we all stand to lose; if we are together nothing is impossible."

This cheap attempt to recruit the memory of Churchill to their dastardly schemes will anger many people here. Besides, the extremism that threatens us is generated by Israel. Everyone knows it – except those whom Israel has brainwashed.

And the Embassy website still carries a public relations “briefing” specially put together by Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni to prepare the West for the pre-planned onslaught on Gaza. It contains a lie or gross distortion on every line. The most ludicrous claim – and the most evil in terms of its consequences – is that Hamas violated the six-month truce begun on 19 June 2008. In fact, Hamas kept to the truce and fired no rockets or mortar shells into Israel and restrained other Palestinian groups.

Israel, however, failed to honour its pledge to lift the economic blockade. Moreover, on 4 November Israelis raided Gaza, killing six Palestinians – an act deliberately designed to provoke a retaliation and provide the “excuse” for Israel to launch its long-planned, all-out war on the already seriously weakened Gaza population, who had nowhere to run.

An impressive Palestinian body-count would no doubt buy votes in the run-up to Israeli elections. Or maybe the motive was a desire to turn an infamous jibe by their former army hero, Rafael Eitan, into reality. It was he who said that “when we have settled the land, all the Arabs will be able to do about it will be to scurry around like drugged cockroaches in a bottle”.

So it was a relief when Queen Rania Al-Abdullah, UNICEF's Eminent Advocate for Children, injected common sense into the situation by issuing a statement last week to remind the world of the many human rights that have been trampled in Palestine. She emphasized two:

    • All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights (Article 1 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights)

    • Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person (Article 3)

"Over the past 41 years, the people of Gaza have been living under occupation,” she said. “Over the past 18 months, they have been living under siege. And for the past 10 days, the people of Gaza have been subject to a cruel and continuous military attack. Either the declaration is not so universal, or the people of Gaza are not human beings, worthy of the same ‘universal’ rights.

“This is the message the world is sending out today. Not only is there a humanitarian crisis in Gaza, there is a crisis in our global humanity... This is the message I am sending world leaders: Our humanity is incomplete when children, irrespective of nationality, are victims of military operations."

OUR HUMANITY IS INCOMPLETE. That is a message for every Western politician to wrestle with and something for Israel’s supporters to reflect on, now being a good time to disband and renounce their association with the criminal regime.

The figures for Israel’s killing sprees are too awful to contemplate. In Lebanon 2006, 1,200 dead and 4,400 wounded; in Gaza, as I write, over 900 killed, including 370 women and children, and 4,100 maimed and wounded. And let us not forget that, in-between times since the start of the second intifada in 2000, Israel has killed another 4,800 Palestinians, including 950 children.

Nearly 7,000 lives brutally taken. That’s a disgraceful amount of blood for anyone to have on their hands in the 21st century.

  12. Councillor attends just two meetings in 15 months after heading to off Australian and his 'new life as a nomad'
    14th January 2009
A Conservative councillor has sparked anger by attending just two meetings in 15 months after starting a new career as a 'nomad'.
Brian Twigger decide on changing his life around in November 2007 and is now said to be in Australia 'with a lady friend called Sue'.

Contacted today, the Kennet District Councillor slammed the phone down when he was asked how he could possibly represent his constituents at Ramsbury, near Marlborough, from such a distance.
A telephone contact number for Mr Twigger which appears on the council website turns out to be disconnected.
It is understood that the interests of the council tax payers who last elected him in May 2008 are currently being looked after by two other councillors.
Councillor Susan Findlay, an independent, said today: 'I know he is now in Australia. He told me that.
'He has gone there with a lady called Sue - I met her before he went.'
He told friends his nomadic lifestyle started in November 2007 when he spent five months travelling around South Africa, Singapore, Thailand Laos, Vietnam and New Zealand.
As environment chief in 2006, Mr Twigger championed the council as one of the first authorities in the country to fit anti-theft microchips in residents' wheelie bins.
Council leader Councillor Lionel Grundy today stopped short of condemning him over his absence.
'I am not saying what he has done is ideal but he has done this for personal reasons,' he said.
However, independent councillor Nick Fogg said that before undertaking his trip Mr Twigger ought to have asked himself whether he could discharge his council duties
'If people know they are going to be absent they should consider their position in regards to the council,' he said.
A spokesman for Kennet District Council confirmed that Mr Twigger was still a member of the council, adding: 'He has attended two meetings since October 2007.
'He attended a full council meeting in April 2008 and a Regulatory Planning meeting in August 2008. He has attended no other meetings.'
The council could not immediately say what expenses, if any, Mr Twigger was entitled to claim in his absence.

  16. Coronation Street bosses spark outrage after hiding cross for church wedding scene - to avoid offending non-Christians
By Daily Mail Reporter 14th January 2009

Coronation Street bosses covered up a cross during filming at a 14th century church - because they thought it may offend viewers.

The Rev. James Milnes said the producers asked for it to be removed entirely, but then settled on hiding it behind candles and flowers.
He described the request - made during the filming of Molly and Tyrone's wedding scenes - as a disgrace.
Rev James Milnes at St Mary's Church in Nether Alderley, Cheshire, which was used for the Coronation Street wedding of Tyrone Dobbs and Molly Compton
The cross was bolted down, so the soap's producers hid it behind candles and flowers for the scene, which was screened on Monday.
Rev Milnes said: 'I can't imagine how people would be offended. It's a church - you expect to see a cross in there.
'You would expect to see the Koran in a film of a mosque, a menorah in a film of a synagogue and similarly a cross when filming a Christian church.'

Stephen Green from protest group Christian Voice said: 'It's absolutely ridiculous.
A still from the Coronation Street wedding where the bolted-down cross was hidden by candles and flowers
'If you're going to film people getting married in a church, you're going to come across the odd cross, picture of Jesus or a stained glass window.
'It's this sort of stupidity that gives political correctness a bad name.'
Stephen Regan, a spokesman for the Diocese of Chester, said: 'The cross is universally accepted as a symbol of Christianity, and should offend no one.
